If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or eager for transformation, an intensive may be the focused support you’ve been looking for. Brainspotting, EMDR and ART are cutting-edge, brain-body therapies that helps people process unresolved trauma, navigate emotional blocks, and access their innate capacity for healing and resilience. In an intensive, this healing work is condensed into longer, more immersive sessions—designed to create faster breakthroughs and deeper emotional relief than traditional weekly therapy.
Whether you're working through trauma, healing after a critical incident or loss, or struggling with performance anxiety or burnout, intensives for athletes, first responders, and high-achievers offer a targeted, highly effective approach to healing. Instead of 45-minute sessions spread out over several months, an Intensive offers several hours of therapy over one or more days—allowing for sustained focus and momentum that can accelerate change.
While Intensives can involve looking at difficult or painful experiences, many people find that doing this focused work over one or two or three days is more manageable—and more empowering—than stretching it out over months. It’s not about doing it “the right way,” but about choosing what fits your life, your goals, and your readiness to heal.

Intensive implementation of trauma-focused therapy demonstrates promising tolerance among PTSD patients, facilitating swifter symptom alleviation with comparable, if not superior, outcomes, thereby diminishing premature dropout rates. Intensive treatment proves viable and yields substantial improvements in PTSD symptoms within a condensed timeframe. Additional information is available here. An intensive regimen utilizing therapy emerges as a potentially safe and efficacious treatment avenue for complex PTSD.
The economic argument is compelling: compared to traditional trauma therapy approaches, the intensive format may streamline treatment duration by minimizing time allocated to a) session introspection, b) addressing immediate crises, c) cultivating stabilization and coping skills rendered unnecessary post-trauma healing, or d) assisting clients in session closure.\
We do not accept insurance for Intensives. Insurance companies do not cover the cost of intensive sessions.
